I went to see Dr. Dessouky because all my life I been snoring and as a girl it's not just embarrassing but it's also started to affect my personal life. I have a 3 year old daughter who says I wake her up in the night and a boyfriend who has to sleep with earplugs. I had my adenoids removed twice when i was younger and when I came to see ENT Doctor I was sure it's the same problem all over again. Dr. Dessouky was professional and polite, he checked my nose and my throat and as it turns out it wasn't my adenoids but something more serious, I have very large tonsils and long uvula and a jaw problem that is causing my snoring and blocked airway so I don't get enough air when I breath, at-least that's how I understand it. Doctor not only reviewed my problem but also explained me visually which I find very helpful as it helps me to understand what is wrong with me and what could be the solution. We came up with plan of action and I 100% trust him because it's rare to find a doctor who would show interest in your health problem and that you would feel like he really wants to help you. I can't wait to be able to breath freely and have good night sleep without snorring. I would definitely recommend Dr. Dessouky.

he was welcoming and calm. Now, I had been in pain for months, been to the GP many times, done different type of blood test but the results shows normal but still had serious neck pain, I was helpless and depressed. But when I came to see Doctor Dessouky, he was able to dignose exactly what was wrong and he said to me "you need a physiotherapist. he did not stop there, he sent me for scan and ear test just to make sure that nothing is left out. and i found that very proffessional. he referred me to the pysio department. All I could do that moment was to cry for Joy and thank God. After several sessions with the pysiotherapist my pain is gone, i'm doing my exercise and I feel great. Many thanks Esther. K.

I have to say he is one of a kind. Very polite, caring with strong knowledge and precise solutions. I have been operated 3 times in Greece and I was struggling with my sinuses more than 5 years when suddenly I was recommended to take dymistra. I had really bad experience with nose congestion. I would constantly get really blocked up nose particularly at night, lying down. It caused me to suffer from sleep apnea, snoring alike. After finding out I suffered from turbinate hypertrophy and deviated septum I began using medication however I still saw no improvement. Met with Dr Dessouky who was extremely helpful. Great deal of knowledge and experience in my particular issue giving me a really good insight into firstly managing the issue but also with regards to what an operation would involve to fix the problem. Subsequently, Dr Dessouky was able to operate on me through turbinoplasty reducing the size of the turbinates which in turn reduces the congestion. Thanks to Dr Dessouky on the successful operation which has made massive improvments. Would highly recommend a similar line of operation to those suffering a similar issue.

I met ENT Surgeon Mr Osama Dessouky a few years back when he was a locum at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital in the ENT Department. When I had sleep and breathing problems at night, He listens and understands your condition fully. If I ever need ENT treatment in the future I would insist on using NHS Choices to be seen by him and his team.
